Participating teachers attended three days of professional development in the use of Open Educational Resources (OER) in Algebra I and other math courses. In addition to the face-to-face professional development, teachers had access to a project Web site (similar to this site), an online wiki for collaborating and sharing their own resources, and school visits and other assistance from professional development leaders. The course site below was a collaborative partnership between the Maine International Center for Digital Learning (MICDL), the Maine office of Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC), and the Center for Education Policy, Applied Research & Evaluation (CEPARE) at the University of Southern Maine.
